For over 30 years, Teixeira Construction, Inc. has been providing trusted residential and commercial construction services throughout Southwest Florida. Built on a foundation of quality workmanship, dependable service, and strong client relationships, the company has earned a reputation for delivering projects with precision, professionalism, and long-term value.
Led by President Mark Teixeira, the company specializes in both commercial construction and custom residential projects, ranging from restaurant and office build-outs to custom homes, additions, and garages. With decades of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Mark personally oversees projects to ensure every client receives the attention, communication, and quality they deserve.
Teixeira Construction has built lasting relationships throughout Sarasota County, Charlotte County, and surrounding communities by consistently delivering projects on time, on budget, and without unnecessary surprises. Much of the company’s work comes from repeat clients and referrals – a reflection of the trust and confidence clients place in the team.
In 2007, Mark Teixeira was honored as North Port’s Citizen of the Year for helping families complete homes that had been abandoned by other builders during the housing market downturn. Working alongside subcontractors and suppliers, he helped several families move into completed homes while forgoing profit in order to support the community during a difficult time. That same commitment to integrity, service, and doing the right thing continues to guide the company today.

Mark Teixeira has completed several projects for the Sarasota opera House and the City of Sarasota for which our firm was the architect. These projects have been very difficult renovation projects within occupied buildings.

Mark is able to provide accurate cost estimates of the proposed work and to then complete the work without additional cost requests.
